We hope you can join the RMA MN Chapter Association on Wednesday, November 19th at the Minneapolis Club to enjoy lunch with others and get an update on Minnesota’s legislature from the perspective of Tom Hauser, Chief Political Reporter, ABC Affiliate, KSTP-TV

Just two years ago the State of Minnesota had a $18 billion budget surplus in the 2023 session. As lawmakers and Gov. Walz approach the 2026 legislative session they must navigate a looming $6 billion deficit. No matter which path they choose, tax increases or spending cuts (or a combination), they face major risks going into the 2026 elections when all 201 lawmakers and the governor are up for re-election.
