Assessing Cash Flow Three, Beyond the Balance Sheet and Income Statement digs deeper than just the analysis of the Balance Sheet, Income statement, and the UCA Cash Flow Statement. By using the inventory schedules, A/R and A/P aging reports, A/R schedule, sustainable growth, sensitivity analysis along with building a cash budget this course builds a context for assisting the client in figuring out the duration, timing and depth of any cash shortfall they will encounter.

Cash Flow III recognizes that more debt is not often the best option for the client or the bank. In these cases, instances you must work with the borrower, building a trust level as well as a knowledge level to assist them through a tough cash flow period. The idea of solving our client’s problem and not just pushing more financing on them as the only solution is presented.

  • Introduction of analysis of various ancillary reports beyond the balance sheet and income statement
  • Addressing the core cash drivers
  • Deficit analysis, Sensitivity analysis, Coverage analysis, Sustainable growth and its impact on cash flow

  • Understanding when financing becomes the least optimal response to a cash shortfall
  • Recognizing the pitfalls that could jeopardize repayment
  • Using a Case Study to Bring the Training to Life

PRESENTER: Brad Stevens is the founder of Stevens Risk Management, LLC which specializes in credit training and consulting for both the finance and manufacturing industry. He has over 30 years of experience in banking ranging from building strong credit portfolios as a banker, leading both lending and credit departments, as well as navigating banks through tough credit times. Brad brings a unique hands-on experience to his training sharing real world examples that resonate with those in attendance at presentations.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations (and no-shows) will not be refunded unless the instructor cancels the course.

If participant is unable to attend, the registration fee can be applied to a future RMA-Minnesota/Local course (prior to 8/31/23) – must notify the chapter administrator notice 4 business days prior to course date.  Substitution is allowed, however any difference in the applicable registration fee will be requested based on replacement’s current affiliation status.
