Paula Williams is the Minnesota Regional Credit Officer for Alerus and is a seasoned banking professional with a career spanning Commercial, Private Banking, and Secondary Market loan production to credit functions in small and mid-size community banks to regional banks.
Paula is RMA Credit Risk Certified (CRC) since 2007 and has sat on the National RMA CRC testing standards committee as a Subject Matter Expert. She has been a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Risk Management Association since 2013. She served as a member of the Education committee from 2016-2021 and chaired the committee from the 2017-2021. She served as the treasurer 2021-2024. She will take on her new role as Secretary for the new 2024/2025 term.
Paula has a Bachelor of Science in Business with a self-designed emphasis in Banking from the Carlson School of Management at the University of MN. Paula enjoys reading, cooking, boating, and traveling.
