CASH FLOW III
Beyond the Balance Sheet and Income Statement

This is a foundational cash flow class being offered by RMA-MN that sets the stage for continued learning. We highly recommend Credit Analysts, Underwriters and Commercial Bankers of all levels take this course.

This course digs deeper than just the analysis of the Balance Sheet, Income statement, and the UCA Cash Flow Statement. By using the inventory schedules, A/R and A/P aging reports, A/R schedule, sustainable growth, sensitivity analysis and building a cash budget, this course builds a context for assisting the client in figuring out the duration, timing and depth of any cash shortfall they will encounter.

Cash Flow III recognizes that more debt is not often the best option for the client or the bank. In these instances, you must work with the borrower, building a trust level as well as a knowledge level to assist them through a tough cash flow period. The course presents the idea of solving our client’s problem and not just pushing more financing on them as the only solution. The course uses multiple real life case studies that apply what is presented to provide a better understanding.

COURSE COVERS:

  • Introduction of analysis of various ancillary reports beyond the balance sheet and income statement.
  • Addressing the core cash drivers.
  • Deficit analysis, Sensitivity analysis, Coverage analysis, Sustainable growth & its impact on cash flow.
  • Development of a Cash budget and A/R schedule using aging reports and their analysis.
  • Understanding when financing becomes the least optimal response to a cash shortfall.
  • Recognizing the pitfalls that could jeopardize repayment.
  • Using a Case Study to Bring the Training to Life.
