9:00 - 11:00am via Zoom

Take the next step of looking at the cash health of a firm. This 3-part course does a deep dive into where the cash goes within a company. Assessing the true cash flow position is more than just searching the financial statements. It requires taking into account the impact of management decisions, growth, and sensitivity analysis regarding all the core cash drivers of the firm, and measuring the impact of sustainable growth.

This is an advanced course for experienced lenders and analysts - It provides the tools to measure, forecast and assess exactly how much cash will be sidelined or recovered with various decisions. Real world case studies are used so the attendees have examples of how the tools work so they can apply the concepts back at the office.

Course Coverage:

  • Advanced analysis of the core cash drivers, cash to cash cycle, cash cycle and the impact each will have on the cash available for the company to operate.
  • Introduces the use of Sensitivity Analysis and Sustainable Growth models to pinpoint the actual amount of cash to be tied up or freed up based on management and marketplace factors.
  • The building and utilization of a cash budget is presented to assist in determining the exact timing of cash receipts or payments which result in determining the bleed rate in the firm.
  • Use of two real world case studies, building on them throughout the course to apply the knowledge that is shared and provide a basis application upon completion of the course.
