Cash Flow II 2017

Past Event

All business bankers must be able to assess the cash flow generation abilities of their borrowers, because it’s ultimately their cash flow that repays their debt.

Many cash flow courses, including Cash Flow I, focus on the mechanics of the UCA® format cash flow statement.  Their goal is to understand the construction of this useful tool.  In contrast, Cash Flow II focuses on the analysis of the UCA® format cash flow statement.  Its goal is to understand how a UCA® format cash flow statement should be analyzed in order to obtain the most relevant and useful information from it.  The focus of this seminar is on how to use a UCA® cash flow statement in order to generate helpful questions about, and derive useful information regarding, a company.

In this seminar, we will cover:

  • What the term "cash flow" really means.
  • How the critical basic and more-advanced analyses on UCA® format cash flow statements should be performed.
  • What the advantages and limitations are of the UCA® format cash flow statement.
  • What the standard vocabulary of the UCA® format cash flow statement really means.
